The Basics
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. This allows you to subscribe to the feed of a website, blog and other formats of online media. By using RSS to subscribe to websites, you don’t have to go visit those websites. Instead, you use RSS feed reading software such as Google Reader. This makes it more efficient for you to read your favorite websites.
